Cable card
The small table beside an icon on the drawing that lists its cables by where they go.
A cable card is the small table beside a device that lists its cable runs. A thin card line joins it to its icon, by default straight up.
It groups the cables by where they go — a rack or panel's Number (R-1), another icon (→ TV-3), a keypad link (LINK-1) or Off plan — as blocks, a row per cable type and how many. Its rack or panel's colour tops each block and runs down its side; warnings are red. A cable's note shows under its row, as typed.
Cards appear once the project has a rack or panel, on each icon with a cable that goes somewhere or a Power row; one set by hand, even before. A shade drawn before with a motor in each section has one at each motor until you split it into shades. Its power is always last: a Power row as 120 V | 20 A | 2, or a wireless shade's Battery or Outlet 120 V. An icon not sent to a rack or panel shows one only for a cable to another icon or Off plan; a rack or panel, for its backbone cables.
Each card goes where it covers no icon, label, card or line between icons, its line clear of labels or faint across them. A dragged card stays put.
Whether a view shows them, also in print, is its Cable cards switch, in Cabling or Views; on by default.
Tasks: Move a cable card, show or hide cable cards.
