Floor
A sheet's place in the building — Basement, 1st, 2nd or Not a floor — with its heights and an optional building, used to estimate cable lengths between sheets.
Every sheet can say where it sits in the building: its Floor — Basement, the 1st floor, the 2nd and so on, or Not a floor for a site plan or a detail. In a European workspace the floor at ground level is the Ground floor and the one above it the 1st.
A floor has two heights: Floor to floor, from one floor to the next, and Ceiling height. Left empty they follow the project's own, set in the Cabling tab's Project settings. A sheet can also name its Building, for a job with more than one; the cable schedule groups by it, and cables between buildings run between racks and panels.
A cable on one sheet needs no Floor. A cable from one sheet to a rack or panel on another goes through a riser, and its length counts every floor it crosses — so both sheets need a Floor. Without one, its length is not guessed: it shows "—" and says which sheet to set. Not a floor counts as set, but a cable from it has no length.
An own riser's arrow points toward its rack's or panel's floor, and a shared riser's arrowheads to the floors its shaft reaches; both are worked out from Floors.
Tasks: Set a sheet's floor, place a riser.
