How do I…
Download a PDF
The PDF is the presentation's pages, each at its sheet's paper size, with title block and legend.
Where to find it: open the project › Share (header) › PDF
- Choose Share in the header. The Share presentation dialog opens.
- Check the pages on the left: cover, legend, Default pages and one page per included sheet of each named view and, once the project has a rack or panel, Cable schedule. A project with conduits also offers Conduit schedule; one with LED tape offers LED tape schedule after it. The eye icon leaves a page out; drag to reorder.
- Choose PDF at the bottom right. Rendering PDF… shows at the top right while it is made; then the file downloads and its pages show in the preview.
Each page prints at its sheet's paper size and orientation, with the title block along the bottom and the sheet's legend. Cable cards print as each page's view shows them, and so do coverage fields: a page prints the Wi-Fi bands and fields of view its saved view turns on, including Default pages. Temporary Viewer choices do not change output. The cable schedule lists the cables of the icons on the pages you keep. The Conduit schedule lists visible conduits once each, with size/type totals and rows grouped by sheet; it uses the first included sheet’s paper and title block. A View hiding an end device still includes its conduit, but hiding Conduit leaves it out. Its Plan length is measured on the drawing: add rises, drops and slack. Missing or disagreeing scales show Unknown; totals distinguish measured length from unknown lengths. Drawn bends over 360° print in red and in words; on-site offsets and turns into boxes also count toward the limit between pull points. No warning is not proof of code compliance. Notes are blank for now. The LED tape schedule lists each visible run once, grouped by source sheet, with its label and length, sheet subtotals and an overall total. It uses the first included sheet’s paper and title block and the issued workspace units: feet-inches to the nearest inch, or metres to two decimals. A run counts when its tape prints on an included drawing page, including tape drawn at the end of a visible conduit while Lighting is hidden; excluded pages contribute nothing. Unusable scales print Unknown; totals sum measured runs and name how many runs were not counted. A PDF has at most 200 pages, schedule pages included.
You do not need to publish a link to download the PDF. See paper sizes and the title block and presentation.
A page cropped or erased on a vector blueprint is covered in this PDF rather than removed, because the file carries the page you uploaded. See what hiding does, and what it does not.
