View

A saved choice of sheets, systems, annotations, work statuses, cable cards and coverage fields, used to filter the drawing and to build presentation pages.

A view chooses which sheets, systems, annotations, work statuses, connection lines, cable cards, cable paths and coverage fields show over the one plan.

Default View is permanent and stays first. Named views occupy subsequent canvas rows, with sheets in aligned columns. Within a visible view, hidden sheets keep dim placeholders. Fully hidden views disappear from the canvas but remain in the Views list. Every row edits the same drawing; visibility differs, source content does not.

In Views, New view starts with all current sheets and work statuses, but systems, annotations, cards, lines and coverage hidden. Later sheets must be included explicitly. Newly available systems stay hidden in a deliberately empty view.

Owners and Editors save visibility changes automatically. Viewers can change what they see temporarily, separately for each row, without changing shared settings. Selecting a row alone never writes its settings.

Owners and Editors use the same sheet eyes in Views and the presentation. Hiding a sheet also excludes it from presentation PDF. A View's eye shows or hides all its sheets. Drag named Views into order; Default stays first. Publishing remains explicit, and existing published pages and versions keep their content.

An Owner can make Default's reusable setup the company default for future projects, with confirmation. Existing projects do not change.

Tasks: Save a view, show or hide cable cards, show and move cable paths, show Wi-Fi coverage, show a camera's field of view.
