Get started

Your workspace

The first sign-in creates your workspace; Settings holds your profile, company details, theme and recovery.

A workspace is your company, or you working alone.

First sign-in

Your name and company asks for your first and last name and an optional company name; choose Continue. The next step offers the company profile: address, contact email, phone, website and a logo (PNG or JPEG up to 2 MB). Choose Save and continue, or Skip for now. If you already belong to other workspaces, Choose your workspace lists them.

Home

Where to find it: the logo or Home at the top left of any screen

Home has two tabs. Projects lists your projects with search, a status filter and a table or grid view; New project is at the top right. Library shows every icon in the official library. The header holds the theme button, the question-mark and bug button to get help or report a bug, and your account menu: it opens with your name and sign-in email (and your Google photo if you sign in with Google), then Settings and Sign out.

The example already in your workspace

The example includes saved Views for cameras, Wi-Fi coverage, conduits and cable cards. Open Views to explore them. Their eye controls choose which sheets appear on the canvas and in presentation/PDF output.

A new workspace starts with one project of its own, named Example project: a two-floor house with its floor plans behind the devices and its cabling already worked out, so there is a real drawing to open and take apart before you make your own. Its devices run to three head ends, so their cable cards and Cable IDs are filled in, and it has speaker pairs, conduits, four saved views and a set of site notes with keyed notes. It is ordinary work — move things, delete things, print it. Nothing you do to it touches anything else.

When you have finished with it, archive it like any other project: on Home, its Active badge › Archived (archive or restore a project). It does not come back. Its stand-in client, Alex Morgan, and its address stay in the workspace until you delete them, which you can do once no open project uses them — see add a client or an address.
