How do I…

Share a presentation link

Publish the presentation, copy the link, and protect, pause, replace or delete it.

Where to find it: open the project › Share (header) › Share presentation

Owners and Editors can prepare, publish and manage presentations. Client links come with Solo and Team plans; Free still downloads PDFs. Sheet inclusion is shared with the eyes in Views; individual hidden sheets stay dim on the canvas, while a fully hidden View has no canvas row.

  1. Choose Share. Under Pages, arrange the pages on the left and use each page's Include or Exclude eye control. Default pages use Default's saved visibility; named-view pages use their named view's saved settings and show its name. Each sheet can be included separately. These choices affect both the shared link and PDF, without publishing automatically. Generate preview shows them, and so does a PDF you download. Once the project has a rack or panel, Cable schedule follows the drawing pages: see export the cable schedule. Conduit schedule follows for conduits, then LED tape schedule for LED tape. Move or exclude either like any page; PDF details explain their contents. Choose Sort → By View to put each View’s sheets together, starting with Default View. Choose By Sheet to put every View of the first sheet together, then the second sheet, and so on. Sorting uses project sheet/View order, keeping inclusion and schedule positions. Drag pages afterward. The saved order applies to link and PDF; a published link changes only on Update.

  2. Choose Publish link. The preview then shows the published pages; for a very large presentation, choose Generate preview to see them. Later drawing changes stay unpublished until you choose Update. After Replace link or Delete link the preview is cleared, since its pages carry the old link's QR code.

  3. Use the copy button (Copy link) and send the address.

The footer shows Anyone with the link and Never expires. See share link.

Pages belonging to a deleted view disappear automatically from the draft. An existing link keeps its published pages until you choose Update.

Follow the progress

One line at the top right says what is happening, such as Rendering preview… or Rendering and publishing…; open it to see the steps. The buttons wait, greyed out, until it finishes; point at a greyed button to see why. If something fails the line says what, such as Couldn't render preview: open it and choose Try again, or see fix a page that will not print.

Share never stops to ask about numbering. Whether removed numbers close up or stay in brackets depends on whether the project's numbers are locked.

While publishing you may see Preparing sharp blueprints… 2 of 3: the drawings are being made ready to stay crisp when somebody zooms into the link. It takes a few seconds per drawing; choose Publish now to skip the wait, and those drawings look the way they always have.

  • PIN: enter four digits in Presentation PIN and choose Apply PIN. Generate a new PIN picks one for you; Remove PIN protection removes it.
  • Link options: open, pause access, replace the link (the old address stops working) or delete it. Your drawing is never touched.

The pages on the link are pictures of the drawing as it is published. Its Download PDF hands over the same PDF you would download yourself, so a page cropped or erased on a vector blueprint is covered in that file rather than removed. See what hiding does, and what it does not.
