Clients, addresses and projects
A project needs only a name; a client and an address are optional records shared across projects.
Your workspace already has one project before you make any: the Example project, a two-floor house with its floor plans, put there to be opened and taken apart. See your workspace.
A project is one job. It holds one plan and may name a client and an address. Clients and addresses are kept once in the workspace and picked again for later projects; correcting one updates every project using it, while saved versions keep what they printed.
Create
Where to find it: Home › New project
Enter a Project name, optionally pick or add a client and an address, and choose Create project. The drawing opens. Details: create a project and add a client or an address.
Change later
Where to find it: open the project › Properties › Project › Project details › Edit
Renaming, changing the client or clearing the address happens inside the drawing, not on Home. See rename a project.
Archive, duplicate or delete
Archiving makes a project read-only and frees a place under the project limit; see archive or restore a project. A project can also be duplicated, and an Owner can delete one for good.
Take a project offline
Where to find it: Home › a project's Offline switch
Turn Offline on for the projects you need on site. They are kept on this device and open with no internet. See work without internet.
Next: the drawing.
