Blueprint

An uploaded floor plan, a PDF page or an image, placed on a sheet under your devices.

A blueprint is an architectural page you upload, a PDF page or a PNG or JPEG image, placed on a sheet. Devices are drawn on top of it. A sheet can hold several blueprints, each with its own name, position, size, opacity and scale.

One page per blueprint. The page you choose is taken out of the file on this device and saved on its own, so a hundred-page bid set stays on your computer.

Moving, resizing or turning a blueprint carries the drawing on it, its scale included; Move blueprint alone changes the image only. Replacing a blueprint keeps every device where it is, and deleting one removes the image only. Saved versions keep the blueprint they were printed with.

Most blueprints are pixels, not lines, so their sharpness is fixed when they are uploaded. The editor shows the resolution one prints at beside Size, and will not let it be made bigger than the sheet prints. A PDF page that is really drawn as lines becomes a vector blueprint instead, and keeps its sharpness at any size, on screen as you zoom in as well as in print.

A sheet just scrolled to can look soft for a moment.
