How do I…

Add, rename, reorder or delete a sheet

The Sheets menu in the bottom toolbar manages every sheet of the plan.

Where to find it: open the project › bottom toolbar › Sheets

The Sheets menu lists every sheet in order.

  • Add: choose Add sheet at the bottom of the menu, or click the round plus button between two sheets in the Default row. Each project has a sheet limit.
  • Duplicate: go to the sheet, then Duplicate sheet. The copy, named "… copy", comes after it with its blueprints, devices and annotations; a rack or panel on it becomes a new, empty one named "… copy".
  • Rename: the gear beside the sheet, Sheet settings, opens Properties › Sheet; edit Sheet name there.
  • Reorder: drag a sheet by its handle, or focus the handle and use the up and down arrow keys. The order is the print order, and the sheet number follows it.
  • Leave out of a view: the eye icon excludes a sheet from the current view, including Default. Hiding every sheet removes that view’s canvas row; it stays in the sidebar so you can show it again. New sheets are left out of existing named views until included.
  • Delete: the trash icon, then Delete sheet. Its devices and annotations go with it; saved versions keep it. The last sheet cannot be deleted.

Press 1 to 9 to jump between sheets in the current view row, or click a sheet in any row to work on that view of it. All rows edit the same source sheet; they do not add copies or consume extra sheet allowance. A sheet you are already looking at simply becomes active and the view stays where you put it; one showing only an edge is brought into view, as choosing it from the menu does. To set a sheet's paper, see change the paper size.
