Find rooms with AI

Let AI find the rooms, walls, doors and windows on a blueprint, and see how many free runs your workspace has left.

Where to find it: open a blueprint's Prepare blueprint › Rooms › the sparkle button, Find rooms with AI

With no rooms yet, press the sparkle button, Find rooms with AI. A pop-up explains that the blueprint image is sent to our AI provider; choose Find rooms to go ahead or Draw by hand to skip it. When it finishes, the rooms, walls, doors and windows appear. Round rooms, spiral stairs and curved bays come back curved: a round room has four corners and four bends you can adjust like any curve. While it works, a status card shows which step it is on and how long it has taken; Cancel stops it. If the connection drops while it works, the card says so and keeps checking. If a request can't be confirmed, for example because the page closed while sending it, the page says so; press the button again to send the same request, which is never charged twice. Check the result, then press Done. AI can work on as many blueprints at once as you have runs for. If someone in your workspace is already finding the rooms on a blueprint, you follow their run instead of starting another, at no charge, and the rooms appear for both of you; only they can Cancel it. With rooms already drawn the button reads Find again with AI, and asks before it replaces them. Undo brings them back.

Each workspace has 3 free AI runs; the number on the sparkle button is how many are left. A run that fails, or that you cancel, is given back, but its cost still counts toward a small limit on what free runs may cost, so a few failed or cancelled runs can use up the free ones. When they are used up, draw the rooms by hand — every tool still works.

An Owner or Editor can buy more runs when they are used up.

Only the blueprint image is sent, and only when you press Find rooms. See edit rooms and walls to fix what it found.
